Donna's Gift Emporium Affiliate Programme – Terms & Conditions
1. Affiliate Commission
Affiliates can earn 15% commission on qualifying sales made through their unique affiliate link, excluding postage and packaging.
- All orders must be placed through the affiliate's unique link to qualify for commission. No exceptions.
- There is no minimum order value.
- Commission is calculated on the qualifying product value, excluding postage and packaging.
2. Monthly Order Requirements
- A minimum of 3 qualifying orders per calendar month is required to earn commission.
- At least 2 of these orders must come from genuine customers other than the affiliate.
- If fewer than 3 qualifying orders are placed during a calendar month, no commission will be earned for that month.
- Qualifying orders cannot be carried forward to another month.
3. Personal Orders
Affiliates may earn commission on a maximum of 1 personal order per calendar month.
Any additional orders placed for personal use will not qualify for commission or count towards the minimum monthly order requirement.
4. Excluded Products
The following products are excluded from commission:
- Sale items and discounted products
- Mystery Boxes
- Surprise Gift Bags
- Gift Vouchers
5. Commission Payments
Commission is calculated at the end of each calendar month, provided the minimum requirement of 3 qualifying orders has been met.
All earned commission will be paid by the 20th of the following month for the previous month's qualifying sales.
Commission will be paid without waiting for the 14-day returns period to expire.
Should an order subsequently be cancelled, returned or refunded, any commission already paid on that order will be deducted from the affiliate's next commission payment.
For partially refunded orders, commission will be adjusted accordingly.
If there is insufficient commission available to cover an adjustment, the outstanding amount will be carried forward and deducted from future commission payments.
6. Affiliate Status & Tax Responsibilities
Affiliates participate in the Donna's Gift Emporium Affiliate Programme as independent promoters and are not employees or authorised representatives of Donna's Gift Emporium.
Affiliates are responsible for:
- Keeping accurate records of their commission earnings.
- Declaring their income to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) where required.
- Paying any applicable Income Tax, National Insurance or other taxes.
- Determining whether they need to register as self-employed or complete a Self Assessment tax return.
Donna's Gift Emporium does not deduct Income Tax or National Insurance from affiliate commission payments and does not provide individual tax advice.
Participation in the Affiliate Programme does not guarantee any level of earnings.

7. Affiliate Advertising & Disclosure
Affiliates must clearly disclose when they are promoting Donna's Gift Emporium products using affiliate links.
- Promotional posts must be clearly identified as advertising, for example by including "Ad" at the beginning of the post.
- All promotional content must be accurate, honest and not misleading.
- Affiliates must comply with applicable UK advertising regulations, including Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) requirements.
- Affiliates must not make false claims about products, prices, discounts or availability.
8. Use of Business Name & Branding
Affiliates must not use the name "Donna's Gift Emporium", or any variation of it, in their own business name, Facebook page, Facebook group, website, social media account name or username.
Affiliates are welcome to promote Donna's Gift Emporium and share their affiliate links but must not name or present their own pages, groups or businesses in a way that suggests they are officially owned, operated or managed by Donna's Gift Emporium.
9. Programme Participation
Donna's Gift Emporium reserves the right to review affiliate activity and suspend or terminate participation where an affiliate breaches these Terms & Conditions, engages in misleading promotion or attempts to misuse the programme.
Any commission adjustments will be made in accordance with these terms.
10. Changes to the Affiliate Programme
Donna's Gift Emporium reserves the right to amend the Affiliate Programme, commission rates or Terms & Conditions where necessary.
Affiliates will be notified of material changes, and changes will apply prospectively rather than retrospectively to qualifying sales already made.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By joining and participating in the Donna's Gift Emporium Affiliate Programme, affiliates confirm that they have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
